Darke County Foundation Scholarship Applications Due March 31
Seniors attending a Darke County high school can win between $500 and $2,500 through Darke County Foundation scholarships. Students who plan to attend a 4-year college, 2-year college, or shorter vocational program are encouraged to apply. By filling out one general application, students are eligible for 75 scholarships totaling $175,000.
Deadline is March 31, 2021. Awards are based on the following criteria (not necessarily in this order): grade point average, ACT score, activities, essay and financial need. Some awards are merit-based without regard to financial need. Some awards do not put a strong emphasis on ACT score. Eligible recipients will be announced at each high school’s graduation. Recipients must earn a 2.75 GPA during one semester of their first year in college to receive their award.
