Good evening, Versailles community!
As Poultry Days is just around the corner, less than 2 weeks away, I wanted to share a few announcements in partnership with the community that is so supportive of us as a school system.
The first one is a prompt for you to come on out and support the fundraising being done by “Save the YMCA” at Heritage Park on Thursday, June 11th. You can get your 50/50 tickets by going to versaillespoultrydays.com and clicking on "Heritage Day 50/50 Raffle Pre-Sale" banner at the top of the page for details. The drawing begins at 7:30. Someone is going to win a nice chunk of change, and 100% of the proceeds will go to supporting the Versailles YMCA.
Secondly, a reminder to support the Towne and Country Players this summer with the Music in the Park series at Heritage Park on July 11th, 24th, and 31st. Additional details are available on the T&CP Facebook page.
Finally, mark your calendars to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States on September 11th and 12th at Heritage Park, organized by the Versailles Alumni and VAPPA, the Versailles Area Pride and Progress Association. There will be fireworks, music, and other free attractions.
