At the meeting there will be an opportunity for members of the community to share their thoughts with the Board about the school year calendar adoption process for the 2026-2027 school year calendar.
The Board will not vote on the calendar this evening but will take the opportunity to hear from the public as anyone wishes to share their thoughts, questions, and/or concerns or items for consideration for the Board of Education regarding their future adoption of the 2026-2027 school year calendar.
Topics shared could include but are not limited to, the total number of hours in a school year, length of school day, and beginning and ending dates of instruction. Opportunity for the public to weigh in on the school district calendar is a requirement of Ohio Revised Code 3313.48(B).

Good afternoon Tigers,
This is Superintendent Dave Harmon with important weather and safety-related information.
Due to the wind chill expected to hover around -20 degrees for much of the day tomorrow, Versailles Schools will be closed for Wednesday, January 22, 2025. We wanted to call relatively early this evening to allow families to make plans for childcare etc.
Thank you for your understanding. Be safe. Stay inside, and stay warm tonight and tomorrow.

Good evening Tigers. This is Superintendent Dave Harmon with an important weather and safety-related message.
In thinking about the safety of students who walk to school, and those who may will be waiting at the bus stop for the bus to arrive, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 school will start on a 2-hour delay due to the expected dangerous cold windchill numbers.
This will allow us time in the morning to see if it ended up being as cold as the forecast suggested and to help us to know if we are able to come to school safely or not.
Thank you for your understanding. Enjoy your time together as family this evening. Be safe. Go Tigers!
