On Saturday, December 16th, the Jr High wrestling team traveled to Vandalia for a quad meet. In their first dual, our Tigers beat Vandalia 50-16. The next match found our Tigers beating Miami East 43-30. To finish up the day, Versailles defeated Beavercreek 70-21. All of the wrestlers were able to get matches in, as there were a number of exhibition matches in addition to the dual meets. The Tigers will wrestle at home vs Sidney on Thursday, December 21st.
The Athletic Department is currently exploring other live-streaming options for the 2024-2025 school year. We will continue to use NFHS for the remainder of this school year. I'd recommend to NOT renew your NFHS subscription until a decision has been made.
The Ohio School Safety Center is holding a 2024 Severe Weather Poster Contest open to all Ohio students grades K-6. The contest is open and ends January 19th. If you’re interested in learning more, please email Mr. Hemmelgarn, and he will send you the link.

Congratulations to the 8th grade FFA members that placed 3rd overall in the District Novice Parliamentary Procedure contest. The team consisted of President-Cale Garland, Vice-President-Liam Barga, Secretary-Monica Evers, Treasurer-Margaret Schmitmeyer, Reporter-Alayna Dirksen, Sentinel-Drew Giesdendorff, Student Advisor-Skylyn Bradley and Member-Josh Henry. This team provided a 15 minute presentation and demonstration of how to conduct a business meeting. Congrats!!
