Good evening Tigers,
This is Superintendent Dave Harmon with a reminder about Monday. Given the anticipation of the pending winter storm and its unknown impact on the district, I wanted to remind everyone that Monday was already scheduled as a Professional Development Day for staff. Students already do not have school on Monday. Have a great weekend. Students, we'll see you on Tuesday next week!

A friendly reminder that students and staff will be off on Monday, January 19th.

Students of the Week!

Congratulations to our very own Miranda M. on winning the Darke County Spelling Bee back-to-back years! She and 5th grader, Marian K. represented VMS well!

CLCE made 250 lunches to be delivered to St. Vincent de Paul in Dayton. This is our most ever in a quarter. Thanks to Darke County Foundation and John’s IGA for helping to make this happen.

There will be a 2-hr delay for Versailles Schools today, Thursday, January 15, 2026, due to snow.

Merry Christmas!

This week, our 8th graders worked hard on their vocab carnival!

Go Tigers!

Mr. Ahrens sixth grade math students had a discussion about traveling for the holidays and were challenged to find the distance and time to travel to cities and cross reference that with Google Maps. This followed up with a discussion about how accurate they were on distance and time.

CLCE wants to thank Superintendent Harmon for coming in and speaking with us about leadership at the school level and the many layers intertwined.

Go Tigers!
